| First, We Went to the Cold and Dry South Side of East Maui | |
| Here I am at Haleakala National Park. It Gets About 3 Inches of Rain Per Year in this Part of the Park. On Saturday, We Saw ALL 3 INCHES COME POURING DOWN!!! | Here's A Map of Haleakala Crater. I didn't see any of this. I did, however, see a cloud wicked up close. It was totally sweet and completely awesome! |
| We Camped at Poli-Poli State Park. Here's me, giving some tree love. It was approximately 12 Degrees (ok, maybe it was 40 degrees...) Now, I know you East Coasters are gonna be all like, "40 Degrees?". But give me a break here. That's 30 Degrees below cold! (And, did I mention it was raining!) | |
| Here's Rochelle, Wearing an Estimated 17.34 Layers to Protect Herself from the Cold. After 2 Nights of This, We'd Had Enough and Travelled to the Warm Wet Side to escape to the comfy temperatures our carefully manicured bodies have come acustomed to. |
