Ma and Pa Durham Head to Hawai'i

A few short hours after finishing the bar exam, my folks made the long haul from Greenville, NC to Honolulu International Airport. We were all pretty pooped. We'd just suffered through grueling days: travel for them; bar exam hell for us. We all needed a vacation. Fortunately, I live in Hawaii!

We went to the Nuuanu Pali State Park to get a bird's eye view of the city.

Then we did a little hiking. We tried to trek to Manoa falls, but came up short (note to self, don't hike in the rainforest in sandals). Then we hiked out to the South West edge of the island to watch the sun set and a blue moon rise. Best view of a blue moon I've ever had!
