First Annual
San Jose International Kick Tennis Festival
Javier, "Foot of Legend"

Javier is the Argentinian Champion. Javier has suffered only two losses throughout his long career. He earned his fabled nickname, "Foot of Legend" after breaking the former champions left left with one of his impressive serves.
The Argentinian Champion traveled to San Jose for the Festival on July 12, 2003. The American crowds were bawdy with anticipation. The event planned a warm up 3 on 3 game between 6 of Malaysia's finest Foot Tennis Stars, to be followed by a double elimination tournament between The Argentinian, the San Jose, and the San Francisco Champions.

The emotions were tense. In the First Game, Andrew struck down Will in Straight sets, continuing on to the next round. Then, Javier returned the favor, striking down Andrew in straight sets. Will was set to face off with the foot of legend. In the first set, Will pulled off a comeback victory. The crowds became untameable. Before the second set could begin, police came to hold back the riots. Sadly, the event was curtailed. By locals got taste of the International Fever, and next years event promises to be bigger and better.
There were twelve arrests and 16 minor injuries. The most severe bruises, however, were to the hopes of the competitor. Each man had prepared months for this event and hoped to walk away with the International Champion title. Each man must go back into training until next year's captivating event.
