January 26-31, 2005 saw the re-defeat of Cohen in the Annual Golden Ball Championship. The match was held on top of the world at Paradise Courts, Wilhemina Rise in Honolulu. It was a glorious series and Durham's home court advantage paid off.

It was perfect conditions at Wilhemina, except for a few roaches and was extremely beligerent rat. During the interim year, Durham had buffed his
skills. Cohen, however, had grown fat and lazy in the California sun.
FINAL SCORE Will Wins, 3 Matches to 0 1st Match 6-2, 6-2 2nd Match 6-1, 6-4 3rd Match 6-3, 6-4
A sense of purpose. Two years in possession of the golden ball had made Durham extremely arrogant. Fortunately, Durham plays his strongest when he is feeling cocky.
Cohen became disheartened after losing the first match so resoundedly. He never got his self-esteem back. Game after game, Durham relentlessly attacked the corners, the sides, and Cohen. Durham was seen doing push-ups on the sidelines and pointing at Cohen and laughing.
"I knew, after the first day, that 2005 was going to be a rebuilding year," Cohen later stated.
Another Goldenball in the books. The vicious game where boys become men and the daily grind in placed in proper perpective, lives on. The Goldenball grows.
Durham to Reporters: "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself. And my cross court shot. Looks like I'm gonna be in the gold for another year!"
