Harry Potter and the Gallon Jugs of Water
Javad Skillz Meter:
Result: Jon: 6:52
          Will: 6:08
The Set Up: This was an easy one - a test of sheer willpower and desire.  Who can hold a gallon of water above their head longer?
NOTE: Instead of keeping our heads above water, we were keeping the water above our heads!
Jon disapproves of his own joke.
That's not armpit sweat staining Will's shirt - those are tears.
NARRATIVE, by Jon the Victorious

After a recent cold stretch of three losses (mostly due to my injured thumb, wrist, and a nearly broken foot suffered during basketball) I knew I had to come back strong.  Else I'd risk falling into a nearly insurmountable hole. But just as you can't keep Harry Potter down, you can't keep me down.

But how would I get back at Will?  Simple.  Hoist him by his own petard.  I'd again use the conceit of gallon jugs of water - one he thinks he's mastered - and teach him that there are more things on heaven and earth than just memories of Erin's one-time mullet.

The actual challenge itself was without drama.  I burst out of the gate feeling strong, and after the 2-minute mark Will already was speaking as if he had lost.  I had the adrenaline, the hunger of trying to reach the top. I couldn't let him double my score. Will had grown fat and soft during his rule, and no one could tell him otherwise.  The Emperor had no clothes on.

It was at the 4 minute mark I realized this would have been so much better if we had added a combat element to this.

Will crapped out soon after we reached 6 minutes.  A solid mark, and he reached his goal.  I, however, was still going strong and could have gone for the foreseeable future.  But there was no need for me to engage in male machismo.  I won, and the play's the thing.
Soon after this photo Jon developed kidney stones.
QUOTES:
Jon:
"Defeating Will was nothing.  By far the most difficult thing I did today was creating those wonderful photos of Javad for the meter."

Will: "After three nights of hearing Jon cry himself to sleep, I figured I'd play a little softball for this one."
